Less time, less waste, lower carbon: Concrete Canvas® products are the original Geosynthetic Cementitious Composite Mats (GCCMs), established more than 20 years. Delivered in roll format, GCCMs are flexible, concrete filled geosynthetics which harden to form a thin durable concrete layer when hydrated – essentially, it’s Concrete on a Roll™. Typically 10-times faster to install than conventional concrete, they offer a lower-carbon, cost-effective alternative for a range of hard armor and weed suppression applications.
About CCX-M®
CCX-MAT® (CCX-M®) has a 12 mil LLDPE backing to ensure the material has very low permeability. The composite concrete top cover provides a high degree of long-term durability and can accommodate a high level of differential ground movement due to the fibre reinforcement imbedded within its structure. This limits crack propagation while retaining low levels of permeability. As a result, CCX-M® is the ideal solution for the lining and remediation of channels and irrigation canals, increasing their operational life and reducing water seepage losses. Jointing of CCX-M® is typically through a combination of screws, or screws and sealant or thermal bonding.
CCX® is our next-generation GCCM for lining large, uniformly profiled infrastructure, delivering erosion protection and reduced seepage losses. Ideal for large bulk water infrastructure such as irrigation canals, stormwater drainage, spillways and hydro-electric flumes, CCX® can also be used for surface protection of earthen structures and geomembranes.
